Why is this a white or black issue? Zimmerman might want to be white, but he isn't. It is a shame how many of you support someone who beats women.

I don't support that crazy fricker, but he doesn't belong in jail because what anyone thinks of him from the Treyvon case. The evidence didn't show he was guilty by any stretch of the imagination.

So you are basically saying that you are taking Zimmerman's account of the incident as 100% fact.
I'm talking about the physical evidence. You know, the shite you and other idiots can't spin with your fanciful imaginations.

The auction site where George Zimmerman listed the gun that he said he used to kill Trayvon Martin now reports that the item is “no longer in the system.”
quote:
An attorney for Martin’s family said Thursday that Zimmerman’s plan to auction the gun was “insulting and disrespectful.”
“It is insulting to this family that he would decide that he would sell the gun that he killed their child with,” Daryl D. Parks, one of the attorneys for the family, told The Washington Post. “Think about what that means: This is a gun that took a child’s life and now he wants to make money off of it.”

quote:Yes there was physical evidence that he beat the shite out of Zimmerman, but there is no way to tell that Zimmerman didn't engage the physical contact with Treyvon first. All we know is that he says he didn't. If he did start the altercation, and I'm sure he did, he is responsible and is in fact a murder.

Good. You accept this. I like the progress.

You're right, but of course there is no evidence he initiated such contact.
quote:
All we know is that he says he didn't.
AND, this is supported by at least absence of evidence to the contrary.

If he did start the altercation

Meh. He is at least guilty of manslaughter.
quote:
and I'm sure he did
And this is what? A "hunch"? "Instinct"? "Sixth sense"? Because there is no reliable evidence to support this.
Occam's Razor lays this out quickly - there is no question that Zimmerman was following Martin. He called 911 to report what he thought was suspicious behavior. He followed him as a concerned citizen (or busybody, depending on how you view it).
At some point, there was a verbal exchange. The way I believe it happened was more or less:
TM - "Dude? Why are you following me? Do you have a problem?"
GZ - "No. I don't have a problem."
TM - "Well, now you do." *PUNCHINTHEFACE*
Then it was most definitely on.

There is one crucial gap in the timeline that necessitates an inference, who initiated the physical altercation. That Zimmerman was getting his arse kicked means little to me. Plenty of people start a fight then get their arse whipped.
I'm not sure of anything, but would not need very much convincing to believe Zimmerman initiated it. I'm willing to bet that if the jurors knew then what they know now about him, they would've convicted him.

Five years from now, George Zimmerman will either be dead or he will have murdered another person. He's the sort of guy who pulls a gun on a neighbor because they're playing their stereo too loud or their dog gets loose.
Thank God the company had some sense and yanked the auction before it could happen. The whole thing is just a big "frick you" to the Martin family. Live your life quietly, don't rub it in people's faces.

No matter how it really went down, frick Zimmerman. What a piece of shite move.
And didn't he get into trouble a few times since the trial?

Wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world if they'd found him guilty.
Guilty for what? Shooting a little thug that went out of his way to attack him? Nah.

Yeah I got several grand just waiting on a Keltec PF9.

That link I posted, you should read it. GZ didn't pick a fight with someone from 300 feet away. The evidence, the testimony, the phone records, all evidence that shows Trayvon had to go out of his way to confront GZ. To say or think otherwise is pure ignorance and proves you care more about the story than the truth.
Sorry resident tPOS apolgists, GZ got the correct verdict. The worst that can be said is that this incident created the BLM movement.

If I recall, Zimmerman had just got into his car to go somewhere. He noticed Martin and decided to follow him. Zimmerman called the police because he thought Martin looked suspect, the operator informed him to stay in his car because the police were on their way, however Zimmerman decided to get out of his car, go track down Martin and by the time the cops arrived, a fight between Martin & Zimmerman broke out then Zimmerman shot Martin right?

Wrong. Everything you just stated is completely false. GZ was already out of his vehicle when he called 9-1-1 operator. When the operator said he didn't need to go looking for TM, he turned around and started moving back towards his truck. Trayvon was home free, but wanted to keep it real. Because tPOS.

He said it, phone records supoort it, eye witness testimony, physical evidence. Does everything you know about this trial begin and end with Nancy Grace?

I would buy it and put it on the mantle.
