Im not sure that its all new.
i bought a boat from florida and had to pay tax on it in Louisiana.
(That was in 2008)
Are you saying that if you buy a boat thats already in Louisiana you have to pay sales tax on the purchase?
If so, thats complete BS

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong, but other movables such as cars are taxed on each sale. New or used. I don't see why boats would be exempt?
