Breaux was one of the very few bright spots on a team that went 7-9 and featured one of the worst defenses of all-time. His incredible play went unnoticed by some, and it’s easy to understand why when your team surrenders 30-plus points per game.
However, Pro Football Focus surely didn’t overlook what he did. In fact, the stats they reveal suggest he may already start putting his name among the likes of Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman, Patrick Peterson, Josh Norman, Chris Harris Jr. and others:

I love everything about Breaux... Great dude and great player...
However it's a bit early for those comparisons especially given the fact that even mediocre play on his part would have still sent teams to browner on 3rd down or anytime they needed to make a play.
That choice will be more difficult if lewis returns to form. (Hopefully)

He had a lot of up and downs, for stretches he sure looked the part. Others he looked pretty bad. With 2 healthy corners, we will see if it was more of browner being horrid as well.

I don't know. Beginning of the season you could say he looked bad but after that he got progressively better...and he was a rookie.

He played well. I just hope he gets the penalties cleaned up.

I don't think we could've asked for any thing more from him coming from the CFL. He went from being the 3rd or 4th CB to practically #1 in one season. Yea the Lewis injury and the total sukkkkkage that was Browner threw him to the wolves, but he steadily progressed and big time. Looking forward to seeing him progress more in the years to come. Not to far fetched to think if he's able to stay healthy a pro bowl berth is in his future, and possibly our top CB for years to come.

Someone will post the gif. It happens every time.

Anyone that thinks he didn't improve to become a legit #1 corner doesn't know much about football.

would've loved to see him and Peterson playing together for the p&g

Being the Saints #1 CB is like being the tallest midget.

Except that he was one of the tallest midgets in the league

I don't even have a gif stupid enough to reply to that stupidity.

man he made many lights out plays for us last year...he will definitely be one of the best in the game starting this year

1 of like 5 bad plays that I can recall from the dude. He slipped twice vs TY Hilton.
I'm pretty sure he locked up the 2nd best WR in the league. Jones had like one catch on the dude.
You can clown majority of the players on defense, they deserve it. Breaux is not one you clown, he is legit. You obviously didn't watch jack this year if you're going to shite on one of the few guys worth a damn.
