Consecutive days like that are rough on two adults, much less children. It is doable, because like I've always told my wife, they can't cry the entire time, right?

Yeah, I get the feeling this is one of those "new parent being naive" moments and that I have no idea what I'd be in for.

30 minutes nonstop crying seems like an eternity. Biggest thing is to make frequent stops, (hard as it might be) and take the kid out the seat for a while. I drive from San Antonio to Lake Charles often, and I hate stopping, but even older kids need to stretch a little.
