I havent read the whole thread, but I watched it last night and thought it was awesome. It makes me even more mad at zack synder and that abortion that was BVS after watching this movie. I am not a comic book reader so I have a couple of questions for the comic book readers in this thread.
1. Does Captain America age? I know he was asleep for all those years but I didnt know if it was because of that or the serum made him ageless.
2. Does this civil war timeline actually occur in the comics or is this a made up story line for the movie? The same with Batman V Superman. Do they actually fight each other in the comics?

A version of Civil War occurs in the comics. The premise is somewhat different but the concept/spirit of the movie is very similar

Yes, but I assume a combo of both.

Yes. The comics Civil-War was based on a superhero registration act, and yes superheroes do fight in the comics, and superheroes die. Captain America died in the civil war in the comics.
