Of course. But don't be naive. Do you really think the government is going to give up that large chunk of change once they start getting it?

The avg. cost of season tickets is ~$392 (not including TAF fees). A 5% tax on that amount = $19.60. Multiply that by ~75,000 season tickets sold and you get ~$1,470,000 in tax revenue. Do you really think the legislature is going to let ~$1.5 mill go away?

No but what was the point behind the exemption to begin with? How is tiger football any different than any other consumed product?

Well, considering that many taxes and tax exemptions sunset under Jindal, which greatly contributed to the predicament we are in today, I guess I do believe that the government will allow your handout EXEMPTIONS to sunset as well.
