You're right that he inherited a shite show from a budgetary standpoint. But if you really think the state of higher ed in Louisiana wasn't clearly in horrible disrepair prior to 2013, you've had your head in the sand.

Not necessarily that but stories like Roy King and another professor that have come up the past year or two. Yes, i know Louisiana's budget crisis for higher education was apparent before his arrival
