I think if a head coach even suspects the other team is targeting his player then he has an obligation to protect that player. It's harder to accept when it's the other coach arguing against your team but it has to be done.
We would have applauded Paul for doing the same.
I am in no way implying LSU was throwing at Ole Miss batters. Just stating a head coach's responsibilities if he thinks it's happening.

Bianco is also the enemy and would love to beat LSU "20 to nothing" every chance he gets. I have zero sympathy for the opposition including coaches who were former Tiger players

Agree with this. Once they leave LSU, if it's convenient, I still root for them. Otherwise, no and my rule extends to LSU alums who are in the pros

I was hoping we would throw at the Ump. ;) I guess that would get a pitcher suspended forever though.
At no time did I have a thought we were throwing at players.
If we don't win it all, I hope Bianco does. He was a great Tiger and is a fine coach. Go SEC.

No shite. Even when we stranded our 10th batter yesterday I pleaded for the entire city of Oxford and Grisham's estate to fall in a sinkhole except for LSU fans and Bianco.
