Look I never even heard about this place inversteins until just reading this thread. I'm just going by what other people said in this thread about what their prices will be. But most people in BR are not like y'all and willing to pay a premium everyday for beef and chicken. I don't give a frick if this place ever opens or lasts forever I'm just giving an opinion from a "common" person which is what makes up most of BR in "everyday" food purchases. All I'm saying is this place better sell cracklins / boudin balls and cheap stuffed chickens if it's going to make it. But then what do I know about overpriced food. In my opinion Target's chickens are overpriced. LOL

They will probably make most of their money selling to restaurants

Whole Foods, Fresh Market, Maxwells, Calandros, and Roberts all laugh at this statement.

They dont seem to be aiming for the crowd that goes to Tonys.

Im not saying the place will fail or not fail, but there is a market in BR for this kind of place.

I think and hope the place will do well. I won't buy all my meat there, but can definitely see myself making a stop a few times a month. I'm fine with buying the bulk of my meat at Albertsons or wherever for a regular weeknight meal, but if I'm grilling or picking up something to head to a friend's house, this would be a great spot. Everything I've bought from them at the Farmer's Market has been good and they seem to be great people.
