I don't like the Kickstarter. What happened to putting together and business plan and getting a loan? I don't think that it is fair way to raise capitol. Would love to have a quality place in Baton Rouge, but I won't put up money for a business for no return on investment.

Fair? Exactly what is unfair about giving people a chance to contribute to your start up cost, and in return giving them back a little something. It creates a sense of community that can go a long way in a business like this. It's not like anyone is being unfairly forced to give money.

I'm sure he did that and part of his business plan was to raise capital from the general public. If you read the page you receive items in return for your investment. Some to me are better than others but nevertheless you can pick what you want or opt to pass. This is 2016 and how finance is evolving.
