I've been doing pressure transfers with the standard lid since I got it last year and the only issue I've had is that it doesn't hold pressure even at 2psi I can hear Co2 escaping the lid seal.
The transfers work great, but it still bugs the crap out of me.

The lid works perfectly. I like it because I know there's no chance I can over pressurize the chronical and bend a clip or worse. I wish it had a ball lock connection instead of a hose though
