Don’t set your bourbon goals high, you will either be disappointed or go broke from secondary market. Go to tastings, find what you like, and go from there. Build a relationship with your local liquor store, buy mostly from them, and in a couple years, they will be calling you for a bottle of unicorn bourbon.

Antique - I have been doing that with a store here in Houston but they already have so many people that are higher on the list than I...... I buy all of my wife's wine from them to help out as well.
She did sell me a Midwinters night dram for regular price but I can't seem to get any of the other stuff.
I also don't want to buy on the secondary market because I can't justify the price.
Talking with some guys in Austin they said that New Orleans area gets more of the good stuff than they do so I was hoping that any one on here might be able to help out.
Thanks to all that replied
