Uh no, bellbottoms, paisley shirts and wide belts died a deserved death and shouldn't ever be seen again.
I think the follow up question would be, could you still wear it now?

Numerically yes. My Giraud's were size 3, and my current jean size is 0 or 2. But women's sizes have shifted it seems in recent years, so i feel like my current 0 is like a 1990s size 4. That being said, I was one of the lucky few at my 20 year reunion that could say that.

But could I stand dragging around seven pounds of denim? God no

I'm in there with you. All jeans were bellbottoms and dress pants were flared. I also had a pair of red, white and blue wingtips.

I wore football jerseys all the time and a lot of them were cut off. We had six packs back then too but no one called them that.

My buddies were a lot like the guys in Dazed & Confused. We dressed down as often as possible.
