Came home today to my freezer being out........my best guess is that it went out sometime yesterday or during the night. All of prized deer sausage, summer sausage and tamales seem to be ruined. I stuck a meat probe in them and it read 63-65°

Any chances any of that is still good?

I'm gonna be heartbroken if it's all lost.

You're not quite at room temp so ice down what you can. It's probably fine.

From a food safety standpoint it is garbage - if it stays above 40f for 4hrs or longer you take a huge risk of getting your family or anyone else else that eats it sick.

If the contents are at 65 degrees, it's been off for days.

That sucks. I had the same thing happen this year.

If the food was 63 in a closed freezer, it has been out a long while.

I wouldn't eat if it has come to that temp over a day or so
