Edit: I am honestly not sure how many people down our street growing up had college degrees. The neighborhood did change over the years. I'd say that less than half in the neighborhood at least the first few years of my life, but probably more than half as I got into high school and the area sort of developed more. Both my parents have at least a bachelor's degree.

After looking up information on the town where I lived, I discovered that it is in fact within a metropolitan area as of 1990. That makes sense, as a good portion of our neighbors commuted to the city for work even though the character of the area where I grew up was very much rural/small town.

In light of this new information, my new score is 34.
