Runs a team better and is a much better defender. Same reasons anyone would take him.

Yeah it only means you are one of the 3 best players at your position in the entire league. Such a meaningless accomplishment that AD not making it this season is going to cost him something tiny like $30m.

What about ESPNRank? The compostie score of the NBA staff...Had Gasol at 10 going into the year and Conley at 20.
and now they are injured so you get to paint the narrative that Thomas(#65)-who really had career year, is better.
This Thomas affection is a weird thing for you...and PER rewards a lot of mediocre players. Brendan Wright is the poster boy of that.
