After living here through several major flood events during the 1990's, I'm amazed that the news always manages to capture a number of vehicles on the highways inside the loop submerged up to their rooftops. Don't people pay attention?

This just happened last year. It's not like "hey why didn't you remember what happened in a similar an event a decade ago?" This happened last year. I'm convinced some people with insurance just want a check for it without having to sell it or haggle about a trade in.

There's a lot of really stupid people in this city, always has been and always will be. The bigger issue is KPRC being out and KHOU having a bunch of old dudes on instead of Chita
