Why? I'm not on the team. If I get excited and enjoy September and October and we shut the bed in November, what am I out? What have I lost? The right to say "I told you so.?" I don't give a good goddamn about that, I assure you. Let's say we go 8-0 in September and October and I'm cumming all over myself I'm so hyped up. But you guys hang back and "wait." Don't let yourselves get excited because you don't want to be let down. Then We go 0-4 in November. I'm bummed, you're bummed, everybody's bummed. We're all fricking bummed!!!

But who do think really won, 87? You, sitting back in your chair, "waiting," trying not to get too excited? Or me, who was riding that undefeated train, cumming all over everywhere? We don't run the sprints. We don't lift the weights. We don't watch the film. We don't get to hoist the trophy. All we get to do is enjoy the ride.
