lots of deaths related to heroin are due to consistency/quality issues

often with lower-class users it's a random batch of lightly cut H that are MUCH stronger than the super cut stuff they're used to

they inject too much (b/c they're use to having to inject a good bit due to low quality) and poof. overdose

Several years ago, a Lusher HS student OD'd on heroin. I'm almost positive she was snorting it. It was a big deal at the time, because 16 or 17 y/o white girls weren't your typical heroin OD casualties.

There was a huge amount of community outrage, so the guy who bought it for her and the guy he bought it from got hammered in court. I believe her name was Maddy Prevost and it happened around 2007 or 2008.
