I guess on poorly designed ones maybe. I have used two different brands A LOT (Blackhawk and IMI), and my finger always comes off where the trigger guard meets the slide. One is a semi-button and the other a paddle.
I feel safer standing around a newb with that than one trying to draw and holster something not retained at their 5

Ive tried it and if rushed enough it happened a few times with an unloaded gun. My wife carried a serpa for like 4 or 5 years. Was super happy the day she got a different one.
