What is your budget? I like the ecobee but am a cheap bastard and for $70 those old school touchscreen Honeywell's can't be beat.

Ecobee will have sexier software but you have to think which you think will still be around and supported in 10 years too.

Nest have been real assholes to their customers.

I got a Nest in Feb and love it but all the recent news is making me wonder if I should sell it while it is worth something and buy somehting else. I think what is keeping me from doing that is that nothing else really blows me out of the water.
