If my elderly father and my two kids weren't living here, I'd have bailed long ago. It's turned into a real POS place to live. And I used to love BR, born and raised, now I can't wait to leave.

If you are working downtown or anywhere North of that, Zachary is a good choice. Only 12 minutes with zero traffic to downtown. Number one school district for like 11 straight years. They even won the last state football championship. Coppermill and Americana are good choices.

If you work in South BR, then Zachary may be a stretch.
