So, if a bakery doesn't want to sell a cake to a gay couple they don't have to worry about being sued and shut down by the government?

I don't have an issue with that.

Eventually the SC will over rule this, but some politicians get to pound their chest and look good for the bible thumpers in the state

The trick is denying service without giving a reason. Unfortunately , or fortunately depending on your views, most people who care enough to no serve gays are not capable of doing it in a tactful way.

To have laws on the subject is pretty stupid in the first place. If you want open a bakery that only serves straight white men, you should be able to do it. However, you should also be forced to suffer the consequences. The free market doesn't need these kinds of laws.
