I've only visited STL and wasn't bothered by many thugs outside of the metro. No stolen cars for my friends but some broken windows in the Central West End (no crime for my friends in Clayton).

Barnes would probably be considered the best hospital in the country if it weren't in STL.

Agree 100%. You're pretty good in most areas, but the two block rule applies almost everywhere. Even just North of Delmar/Clayton/U City can be super ghetto.

I'm just not into the Clayton scene, its nice and safe but one of the yuppiest/snooty/midwesty places I've ever been. I get that some people like/are like that but it's just not for me.

For having as many issues as STL does, you'd think the place was freaking Beverley Hills the way a lot of Clayton people are. It's super strange.
