Look at the population in the area and you can't find 6 guys to dominate in basketball? I know they've had a some good teams, 1 or 2 sweet 16s, but good God with what they have.
Football too. So you lose a few to USC and UCLA? There are about 23 million people in SoCal. Texas has about 27 million.
