They are way over analyzing the press conference trying to cover their arse since Herbie fricked up.

This is classic

Yeah, they're trying to say that he's still going to Michigan.

I guess they didn't hear him say, "I'm not interested in talking to another school."

I was thinking the same thing. Miles pretty much just said he was staying but they are picking apart everything he said, kinda like the Miles haters on here.

They said Miles had "what appears to be a change of heart"

Not, "we were wrong"

- I seriously doubt that :30min after the ESPN story broke, he decided to change his mind

Mark May basically said "this takes him out of the running for the Michigan job".

My paraphrase...not verbatim.

They should have said they were wrong. They were trying to be the first to break it and have egg on their face.

If you don't think the doors is still wide open for Michigan you are crazy. I've heard enough political speeches and endorsements to know he made ZERO commitments during that statement.

Did you notice how they are still saying the door is open for Michigan but the bottom line & breaking news box says "Miles is staying at LSU".

Could they be more contradicting.

He did leave a lot open, but I think he learned from Saban's mistake and wouldn't hold a PC just to leave later.

I guess time will tell. I still think he is staying. Not that that is what I wanted. I was hoping for SOS or TT

If he is leaving he has done a great job of acting the past few weeks.

There are a hundred people on here trying to cover their arse and their iron clad "sources" arse now. It is funny as shite to read.

I have decided that ESPN is full of shite....

interjecting far, far too much of their opinion as fact.....

30 seconds ago, I watched two announcers allude that Miles is still leaving.....with the words "Miles will remain at LSU" across the bottom of the screen...

If they are not sure that he is staying (or leaving), then that should not be a headline...

I was hoping for a trained monkey if it meant no more underachieving, repeat penalties, poor game magmt.
