Probably one of the only good things about these films was Zimmer's music. His Man of Steel work was fantastic.

Highly doubt Nolan does another Superhero film. Pretty sure he has bigger goals.

He passed the torch to Junkie XL (Tom Holkenborg). Although, I think he's "done" because BvS score was pretty bad. It was average at best.

I think the general public is close to being done watching them.

Except the Captain. Only one worth watching IMO.

There was almost no music at any part of this film. The entire movie felt like a collection of deleted scenes.

LOL

Between Deadpool and BvS, they're already on pace to double last year's superhero movie box office sales.

BvS crossed over the .5 Billion mark today. 6.5 days in the theaters.

Which, according to this board, is the worst movie ever and is only being seen because of the superhero characters.

Hell yeah it is. I pretty much love any of his scores. Intersteller, Batman Begins, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, Sherlock Holmes, etc

You can't be ignorant enough to think this isn't the case. Replace batman, superman and Wonder Woman with anybody else and this movie bombs spectacularly.

Doesn't mean Nolan wants anything to do with them.

I get that they are big in the box office. But I wouldn't blame him if you wanted to avoid that entire genre for an extended period of time. The market is entirely too scratched with shitty superhero films.

His Bane music was awesome. He also did stuff for Lion King by the way.
