I was listening to the LSU Radio show about 25 minutes ago and they said reports have surfaced that Miles has signed an extended contract to stay that will make him one of the highest paid coaches in the country. Tune in to get more details. Geaux Tigers, beat Tennessee!

The guy is 32-6 so even if you don't like the way he has worn his hat or handled the situation there aren't many coaches out there who can claim that. In the SEC, no less. No pun intended.

with completely opposite "confirmed" stories out there now, somebody's credibility is going to be wrecked by the end of the day. As much as I would like for it to be Herbstreit, I am hoping Herbie is right on this one.

Herbie wrecked his credibility at the beginning of last season when he said Miami would win the MNC.

This is good news for LSU dispite the hurt feelings of people on the board. Dreams of Spurrier, Tubby or Saban are just that. It was never going to happen. Les is a good fit for us and he will bring in a good DC for us. Geaux Tigers!!!!

If it is true then Miles needs to give a portion of his new salary to Herbie for pushing the deal...I am still not impressed how EVERYONE (media, LSU Staff, Michigan Staff, Miles, etc) has handled this on the day of a major TRUE CHAMPIONSHIP day (unlike the MNCG)..sad day for LSU football no matter what happens...hopefully a good night though..

How is Skip Cheap? Miles was compensated more than Lloyd Carr was this past season and Carr has won a national championship.
