Don't worry, HBC Fisher will keep him. Or coach Stud.

We are 10th in the country in scoring with Bowe, Buster and JR in the pros. Flynn has been steady at best and we have not completely utilized all of our weapons. In addition, we now know who our Tight Ends are. I hope he is named interim HC for the bowls and retained by whoever we bring in to replace Miles.

I'm for keeping Crowton. That is why I wonder the term length of his contract. I think he should surely get an interview with the next head coach.

I'll take Crowton's offense over Spurrier's, thank you very much. And that's my biggest reason for not wanting the Ole Ball Coach.

thats why del rio would be a good fit. imagine his hardnosed defensive style and crowtons offense...

your right, that does suck, but in a perfect situation, which im confident will not happen, he can hire ed o. as a coordinator, keep crowton, let them secure the current recruts, and take over as hc in jan. its a long shot and probably will not happen, but thats the only situation that will work for him to be the coach.

Crowton has only had one year - it would serve LSU greatly to keep him around. With Miles and Pelini gone and Crowton remianing (hopefully), a defensive-minded HC and one of his new protege's would fit nicely for next year. I would love to see Crowton take the offensive reigns (completely / no Miles) and open things up like he has done at every other institution on his long and distinguished resume.

It give him a shot as the interim HC. Remember he was fired at two other schools. That said, I hope he is successful here.

Also, it would be interesting to see what kind of offense we field without the drag of "Up-The-Middle" Miles.
