anyone play these? I have kids and would like a game where we are all working together rather than constantly beating up on each other. I have heard ghost Stories, Samurai Spirit, and Flash Point are good. Leaning toward Samurai Spirit. Anyone play any?

How old? If teens then Pandemic Legacy bar none, not close. If younger then Forbidden Island

The best is probably Pandemic.

For kids - Forbidden Island and/or Forbidden Desert. Pandemic-light essentially.

I like Flash Point and it's many expansions.

ghost Stories

Is terrifyingly hard and some of the imagery is graphic. Depends on the age of your kids.

If your kids like comics - Legendary Marvel Deck-Building is way fun. I'd also invest in Hanabi for like $10.

I really like this new board game out called Between Two Cities. It's not necessarily Co-op. You aren't trying to beat the board, but you are trying to deal with what you are dealt along with other people.

Shadows over Camelot allows up to 7 players and has an optional traitor possibility. I would recommend it if your kids are about older like 11+ or so.

If your kids are pretty young, I would suggest Forbidden Island over something like Pandemic. My 6 year old son loves it but my 4 1/2 year old daughter is still a bit too young. She tends to check out about half way through when we play.

Flashpoint is definitely too old for my daughter but my son likes it on the theme alone. However, I end up giving him a lot of guidance on his decisions since he hasn't quite grasped the fire spreading mechanics and how to think ahead. I need to give it another go with him, though. We haven't played it in several months and he'd probably be better at it now.

I've also heard good things about Escape: The Curse of the Temple but I haven't played it myself yet.

Love pandemic.

Also, the resistance is a fun game for families.
