From 66/67 to 72/73 they were 205-5 with 3 undefeated seasons. 1 in 66-67 and 2 in 71-72 & 72-73.

Wasn't the tournament 32 teams back then and you only got invited if you won the conference? You could finish 2nd and not even go? How many modern day men's champs would have been ineligible for the NCAA tournament? That's what's impressive.
And players were ineligible to play freshman year, right?
