How would you go about blacking out rear sights on a pistol?

I think these rear sights are too distracting.
If I just fill them in black and go to a one dot setup I think it would be better. Any idea on something to do this with? I tried a sharpie and a lead pencil...no dice. Thinking of something more permanent now.
Thoughts?

Model car paint bottles. Just one little drop and it should fill in nicely.

Why not just swap your front sight with a different color ?

They don't have Trijicon HDs for this gun? That has a blacked out rear aperture and it's a very sharp sight picture. Probably my highest recommended sights for a defensive handgun...
