I honestly can't recall meeting a normal person that went to Baylor undergrad. They were all odd-ball, socially defunct weirdos. Granted, a lot were only children.

Maybe they needed that "nurturing, coddling" environment? Who knows...

i can't imagine going to a private school in my home state. always made me scratch my head here with Tulane (and especially the "bad" ones like Loyola or LC)

Pretty much. Also has anyone mentioned Waco is ghetto as frick? Like not student housing with a lot of kids partying ghetto like your average college town, but actual gang activity.

If your child is insistent on going to a private school go to TCU or SMU. Better education, better kids and far better place to live for four years
