God, you are awful. Everything you post is an assumption based on your own shitty and pretentious opinion. Clearly there are people who enjoy EM and I highly doubt that what your described as EM is what goes on every day in the profession - especially since you wouldn't know because it's obvious you aren't in EM. Just because you did well and matched into a highly competitive residency doesn't automatically make you the foremost expert on the ins and outs of all forms of practice.

What did he match into? Gen surg? Which specialty has the most egoistic, condescending assholes?
ETA: It appears he may be a 28 year old ortho resident who is already burned out and considering a career change. Might explain the shitty attitude.
