i was thinking about going, but im not very adaptable.

Someone teach me how to catch bass after 20" of rain and floods. Do they like back porches and truck beds?

the water has already came down over two feet, and will probably be around full pool in the next couple of days. The fishing isn't going to be hurt IMO.

They should be easier to get to as the water drops. They were pulling out towards the edge of the newly flooded areas by Sunday, as opposed to Saturday when they were wayyy back in that stuff. Water clarity was also a factor, we never caught fish in mud, you had to have at least a little clarity (which you normally had in the newly flooded areas).
