Sending video files

Easiest way for me to occasionally send multiple video files to a family member, as opposed to driving an hour and transferring a bunch of files from a flash or external hd?
The cap on free cloud hosting might be an issue, and I've never messed with FTP or remote desktop stuff.
I'll probably google it tomorrow, but figured I'd give the tech board first crack at steering me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Usually less than 1Gb each, but sometimes there might be 10-15 that I need to send. Was hoping to go in remotely, transfer, and place everything in the correct sub-folders so it's easy for mom.

FileZilla or some other FTP option is going to be your best bet. There's remote access options with file transferring like LogMeIn and TeamViewer, but I don't think either have a free (or reasonable) price option for what you are looking to do.

You can upload to Google Drive and share that way, as well.

I use WeTransfer.com for anything less than 2GB. You fill in their email address and send. The service uploads to its server, and sends them a link. Done!

Personally, I use DropBox for this kind of thing, but that is $99 per year for 1 TB (the free service is only 2GB of storage).
You could try Microsoft OneDrive (5 GB for free or 50 GB for $1.99 per month).
What you do: Install the desktop software on both your computer and your mom's computer (both under the same username that you created when you signed up). When you drag and drop the files into your OneDrive folder on your computer, they will automatically download on your mom's computer. I think this would be the easiest solution for your mom. Just make sure to only put mom-friendly stuff in the OneDrive folder if you do it this way.
Lots of people use OneDrive or DropBox so that they can have important files on both their home and work computers. This is the exact same concept.

One drive is 15 gigs. That's what my family and I use.

It must have changed because it's 5 GB now.
