He's an A-hole. Probably bigger A hole than Saban.

Unproven at LSU's level of play. Huge risk.

He coached at a BCS school and took them to #2 in the nation when do you get proven?

When you recruit against, play and defeat the likes of alabama, auburn, florida, virginia tech, etc year in and year out. He's had a great year. But I believe LSU is in postion to demand more than a small conference coach.

Oklahoma State wasn't exactly an elite program under Les Miles though, or did I miss something?

Small Conference? He coached in the Big East. My god, he beat the current #2 team in the nation, and was in a position to go to a BCS bowl.

He's not leaving. He's made that clear on several occasions.

Am I the only one on the board who thinks that the only non-BCS coach ever to win a BCS game is the best hire we could make?

Peterson from Boise State? Is that his name? He'd be a good hire.

Guys, I cringe at this idea. Hallman Part Deux

Besides, he's a clown on the sidelines.

Absolutely. Although they suffered a slide this season, that man can coach. He'd be near the top of any list I was generating for replacing coaches.

One man's clown is another man's fiery competitor. Muschamp anyone?

True, Miles and Saban were both unproven. We are in a position now to be more demanding. (heck, even after three years of Miles, many still are not sold on him). We need someone who has and will beat top ten teams on a regular basis.
I don't intend to offend any fan of any school, but the Big East does not intimidate anyone who is not from the Big East.

Levitt started the USF program from scratch, but what he should do is let his name get out there and get more cash out of USF.
