That is true, but everyone knows that you can't "go back in time." Even if he were to come back here to LSU, I don't believe that his success would be as great. I mean don't you think it would be hard to trust his word and with that, why would recruits trust him. Just my opinion, we all have one.

So? He doesn't have a time machine. This is not 2004 anymore.

Give me a list of names. I can think of a ton better than him. Do we have a shot at them, thats what the phone is for. Skip is getting names (When this thing started, names were being thrown into the hat), he has to narrow down to 3-5 and present them for review.
Some say CSS would only give you 5 years, name the last coach to go over 5 years? Thats right, go back in time.
Not saying hes my pick, some have given reasons why he shouldn't be at LSU. I do know of others that have given some interest.
LES has to do whats best for him, UM will take some rebuilding, Carr and others will be against him. Does he want to fight that? Some are on his side and others are against him. Not a good place to be in. Like some coaches will tell you, "Its not the jobs you take, its the ones you turn down that can make you!"
Passing on a job is sometimes the wise thing to do.

Too much ego, bad feelings and short memories for that. In 5 years maybe.

Nick's luster is fading. He isn't proving to be as great as everyone thinks he is.

Are the Dolphins better than when he took the job? Is Bama better than when he took the job? Is LSU better since he left?

I don't see what everyone sees in this guy.

He just wishes he'd stayed at Miami one more year and it wouldnt even be a discussion. No way he turns around and leaves Bama to come her in a year, and no way we go after him after all this.
