Never been. Only have half a day and a night to kill. Trying to figure out where to stay that has close proximity to quality food and drink. Also recs for quality food and drink. Tia

I hear its a great place to put your weed in your pocket, grab a cappu-chino, cross the street illegally, then yell that a cop is violating your human rights.

That's all I got.

Stay in Covington and hang out around Newport. Plenty of bars and decent places to eat close to the River.

My companies home office is in Cincy. Been there a couple times. Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza is nice. It's downtown which is where I have stayed. Probably best bet. Haven't eaten out there too much but one place that sticks out is Bakersfield OTR. It's a Mexican joint. Great food, some good cocktails and boots of beer. It's Over the Rhine, which is an area just north of downtown.

The Montgomery Inn. Excellent ribs. Stay away from the chili restaurants.

Oh yeah. Can't believe I forgot about Montgomery. Yes, stay away from chili. A colleague suggested we go there for lunch before my flight. Let's just say I didn't spend too much time in my assigned seat.

The Chili is really not very impressive.

The best meal I had while I was in Cincy... was when I took a taxi to Newport to eat at Hofbräuhaus

I am going to cinci and looking for recs as well. Doesn't look like there are too many suggestions but there is no price limit if that matters I just want the best.

Out of Andrew Whitworth, Brandon Lafell, Jeremy Hill and James Wright from
LSU on the Bengals roster you would think at least one of them would offer suggestions or send Über to pick you up.

I can't help much. I ended up staying in Covington and walking to some places in their downtown area. There are some cool beer bars and hangouts there. I took a gamble on some authentic German place as I recall....when in Rome. It was a dud. I went back to the beer bars and had some chili and noodles as a night cap. Cinci area is not very impressive to me. Surrounding countryside is nice. I didn't nail the account down so I'll probably not be back much. ..

I've already been. Not itching to go back. I'll be in Asheville tommorow...much better place.
