Well that seems pretty definitive, he said over and over he would do whatever the team needed. He's needed at LB, he will play LB, IMO that gives us two 5 star talent EE linebackers. With him at backer I think we are just fine. DAMN I CANT WAIT to get spring reports

Yeah - I'm getting more excited, too. I think Riley will do well in Aranda's scheme (he certainly thinks so) - and with Divinity and White as the young talent already on campus.
But, I also think that Andre Anthony and Rashan Thornton are going to transition well to OLB, too. Thornton has a big frame, but I never thought he was headed for 275 or whatever. Under 250, he's a quick, aggressive guy who might be a better fit as an OLB in a 3-4 than a WDE in a 4-3, anyway.
That's even more true of Anthony, although he did play a lot of end with his hand on the ground in HS - that's another, smart aggressive player with a quick first step. It's almost like we knew we were headed in this direction before we even hired Aranda.
