Even if we lose to UK, we will have same conference record as last season

11-7
So with Martin and Mickey we went 11-7 and with Simmons (and others) we will have gone 11-7. Difference from last year to this year is this year's team miserably failed in OOC play where as last year's team went 11-2 in OOC play which is why we are on the outside looking in bubble wise.
Just get that feeling this is our ceiling under Jones and that's the scary part.

Looks like it's the best JJ can do.....watch some of the better programs and see how they run a system. With average players, a well run, effective system can produce good results. Put top notch talent into that same system and you have great years. To me, LSU just goes out and plays whatever.

Last year's team was more talented and yet people expect more from this one...for one reason, Simmons
The expectation of a dominant force wrecking shite on offense is what many expected, what they got is a jack of all trades that quietly and consistently puts up impressive numbers on a weekly basis. They got a guy that as a freshman could immediately step in and take the place of an experienced NBA ready junior/senior...but he can't replace two of them
That being said, there is no excuse for what happened in Tennessee and Arkansas. So realistically this team could be outperforming last year's team; however, to blindly expect and assume that they would like many of us were earlier in the season seems a bit naive
