Can Curry get at least a couple of FMVP awards before we start comparing him to MJ?

It's way too early now. He's going to have to have sustained success for 5+ seasons of some variation of his level now, maybe slightly lower since he's playing so well.
There hasn't been a player get to a level to actually start the discussion since MJ left.

Curry had one great but not historic season last year, and is in the midst of an all-time great season now. Maybe the greatest offensive season ever, but it's still 1 season.
MJ is the all time leading scorer in the regular season, playoffs, and finals. He has 5 MVPS and a record 6 finals MVP (which is double second place). He led the league in scoring a record 10 times, and is the only player in NBA history to win the scoring title and defensive player of the year in the same season. All of that >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1 historic shooting season. This board is ridiculous.
