It appears that a number of LSU fans are okay with Les leaving...even encouraging it. Am I wrong about that? As a Bama fan, I hope he does because common sense and history proves he's gonna big a thorn in every SEC team's side as long as he's there.

I'm glad we have Saban, but would not think twice about having Miles as a HC either.

BTW...I think you'll find a lot of Bama fans that agree that Les did not win with Saban's players. He won period.

As a Bama fan you should know that championships mean everything. Les has let to win one, and if he fricks up this Sat. he needs to leave ASAP.

You're in the minority. Almost all fans of the Alabama schools think les is a boob, he will lose when our talent leaves, and hopes that he stays here a long time. They are wrong of course, but that's what it is.

Hey dumbass the sporting world knows LSU is a distracted team now, some have suggested it started earlier this year. You don't fire a 32-6 coach, unless you want an Ed Ogeron, because that is all you will be able to get.

Personally, I'm OK if he leaves and I'm OK if he stays. Our program is bigger than whoever runs it.

I think you're wrong on that one. Les brings something to the game that it's been missing for sometime. Balls. Call it luck or not, the TD play against Auburn took balls. Could it have gone the wrong way? Yes. I do believe that he believed enough in his team to pull it off. One of the best plays I've seen all year, plus the fake field goal over the holders head to the kicker. Sometimes there is good crazy...that's what I think he offers.

I want Les to stay. His record is no fluke. Michigan wouldn't want him if he wasn't good. Those people who want him to leave may just get what the wish and regret it.

IF Miles leaves, fine. You fire him, and we'll be shopping for a coach out of Baylor or North Texas.

Wait. Those aren't my words. I did not express much of an opinion in my post. Just telling you what fans outside of LSU are saying. I can point you to a few Bama fans on a golf board that have the mantra down so tight you'd swear leaflets were passes out.

Most of the good teams are in the back of that pack...don't need to go for it as often. Bad comparison.

Les is a good solid coach - but he's probably leaving.

I am so sick of all the spoiled brats here that don't know anything about LSU history or even recent history like all the losing seasons under Archer, Hallman and DiNardo.

I for one will be upset to see Les leave.
