So, Chicken, you have to let us know if belowpar is legit or not in your judgement.

I have a very reliable source that Miles has taken the Michigan job. LSU has 3 interviews today. Saban, Tubbs, and Spurrier. Know a guy who works for a catering company who the Athletic dept. exclusively uses. LSU ordered 3 seperate small catering set ups. This was unusual, so he asked someone in the dept. what it was for and he was told the above. The Miles move will be announced after the SEC championship game.
You're so full of crap. Nobody in the AD would blab this to a catering server.

Tubbs is in Auburn today trying to finalize his contract. Don't see how he could be having an intereview.

He's not talking to the coaches. Talking to the agents.
Why would they be catering the meetings then? I thought agents and lawyers ate their young?

Considering things I've read on this and other forums about wanting to fire a coach with a 32-6 record over 3 years its a wonder why any high profile coach would come to LSU.Its funny all these people want Spurrier, yet in all his greatness at Florida he only won one NC.He will never make it at LSU our coach needs to win the NC every year or people will want to fire him.

Actually, all Mich AD Bill Martin has said is that he would like to get this done by the end of the year. That is the only difinitive timetable that is in the public domain.
Mich Advisory committee (which does not include Lloyd or B. Martin) met for the FIRST time yesterday. There are 7-8 members, but no names are known for certain. (Possibly former player(s), faculty rep(s), ath. dept rep(s), alum(s), etc.). They are just going to create a short list that they feel should be pursued.
Lloyd is really pretty sick. There are good sources that say he has Parkinsons and has since about 2001. He is medicated, but has gradually yeilded more and more of the effort to his assistants. This year he did not want to be there at all. And it showed. He stayed because he was asked.
There are believed to be up to 20 names begin considered by the Advisory Committee. Lloyd is helping with vetting the names (has made calls to GVSU and CMU about Kelley, OSU about Miles and BG and Utah about Meyer).
I wouldn't expect the decision soon. It will likely be predicated on who the target finally is and when it will be appropriate to make it public relative to that individual's/school's/team/s situation.

The caterers are serving roasted child's feet and fried baby legs for lunch, so the lawyers will feel at home.

Just looking at this I find this doubtful. It would be odd that LSU would do three interviews all in on day with Saban , Tuberville, and Spurrier all on the LSU campus for goodness sake. If one wishes to keep this secret then to do this would very foolhardy.
