If so why the hell did he leave Arkansas for Ole Miss. Damn Arkansas have waaaaay better facilities. Better area to live in, etc. I was hoping LSU would get him if Les leaves, oh well that's outta the question.

What alternate universe did you just come from?

Seriously?
But to answer the question, like Rodney Dangerfield used to say "No respect I tell ya"
What does Arkansas want? He wins games and has been to 3 SEC title games since he's been there. They say before the LSU game he is fired, and after want him to stay. He said Piss On Ya and went where he can be the man by simply winning an SEC game or two.

Great hire for OM. He might actually stay for awhile, too. OM fans are incredibly more laid back and less delusional that the avg. hog fan. He can do a lot with very little. They've never been to the SECCG, so hiring a guy with 3 trips under his belt makes sense to me. You have to admit that it's pretty funny that they hired him a few days after he upset LSU. Nutt's the best hire they've made since Tubbs.

Yep. How was it that Tubbs left again? Ole Piss is a dog of a program and Tubbs was smart enough to leave in the middle of the night.

Arkansas doesn't get the talent LSU does. Hell he took Arky to 3 SEC title games. Think what he could do with the talent pool LSU gets each year.

The Mitch Mustain/Gus Malzahn drama was the match that lit the fuse with many hog fans. After that, friends of Nutt poured fuel on the fire and the whole thing basically exploded. People living outside the state haven't had to endure this saga like we have.
Integrity came into play about Nutt and his so-called posse along with his mediocre SEC record. Hopefully with a new hire, we can finally put this book to rest and put it on the shelf. As a Tiger fan and non-Hog fan, I know I've had enough. I can only imagine how the hog nation folks feel. With Broyles being gone in a month I see a whole different ball game being played on the hill, imo.

Think about the sh*t storm he started for himself up there, as well, with the whole Mitch Mustain/Gus Malzahn debacle.
Personally, I don't know what rock you've been hiding under to wonder why he resigned. In contradiction to what ESPN wrote in the last day or two about the "minority" of Arkansas fans wanting him out, every Arkansas fan I know and/or am friends with (20+ people and all 100% of those 20+ people) passionately wanted him GONE before the season started. Sh*t, make that at the end of last year. The Springdale soap opera just multiplied the amount of disdain fans held for him and the number of fans that wanted him gone.
For the record, I don't think he resigned from Arky to take the Ole Mrs. job, either, or whatever you're suggesting. An ironic timing and run of events? Yes.
He was done in Arkansas after this year, period, whether he chose to go out on his own terms or not.
Did he do some good things at Arky, considering the talent pool they have to draw from and such? Yes, no doubt. At the same time his "friends and family" coaching staff arrangement was shady and his offensive play calling was, many times, as predictable as is the sun rising in the east.

Because they gave a $3.5M payout at Arkansas and now he will be going to Ole Miss and making another $1.9M a year. Thats a pretty good deal.
Plus if he goes 4-4 in conference sometime in the next 2-4 years he will keep the Snobs happy.
