I'm pretty serious when it comes to Trials, but it's hilarious when I get with a group off of r/fireteams and you get someone who gets so frustrated with it.

I purposely title my posts as 'competitive' and not 'flawless run', because if we lose I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I'm there to play more than anything. I'm an average, above average player who can get lucky every once in awhile and go flawless.

I never understand when I'm playing on like a 6-0, 7-0 card and we get pitted against a team of diamond or platinum level ELO players and someone rages. Like bro, you have an 1100-1300 ELO. This is supposed to happen.

I would put myself at the above average skill level, however I have had a lot of help since the beginning of the year. I reached out to some people that do "sweats" regularly. I asked if they could help me improve because what's going on for me right now isn't working. I have learned a good bit about baiting opponents into losing battles but it isn't like I have turned into some pvp God. They regularly kick my arse in 3v3 pickup games until I get a map I have put serious work into. I try to run 100 games minimum for trials every weekend and if I can't find anyone from my 100 group I'll just play with randoms off DLFG.

Usually get some good responses and played with a few female guardians who enjoyed my humor.

Because I do this I only have like a 45% win rate and last time I checked my elo was 1260. I regularly run into 1600+ elo teams on the 5th, 6th and 7th win games and those can be challenging when you have teammates that aren't supportive.

On Mondays my friend will help run me to the lighthouse, usually pretty quick 7-0 card. Then I usually just dick around with NLB or Fusion rifles.
