Has anyone that has switched to GEICO made a claim or dealt with their reps? I could save about $1,000/year switching car insurance from USAA, but their customer service is outstanding, and if I can't get a claim filed when I need to, then the savings may not be worth it.

I've filed an auto claim against someone who has GEICO. Went smoothly.

Subsequent and unrelated to that, I switched to GEICO for my cars and umbrella. Savings were stellar compared to Nationwide and every other company I checked at the time.

A lot of companies will give multi-line discounts if you bundle your home and cars, etc. Make sure to price check things together if you can.
