I put this on another post, but a buddy of mine said there is a big rumor going around that ole nicky boy is whining how he isnt all that happy in Tuscaloser, and that is agent has already talked with LSU about the possibility. Is it just me or does this want to make you throw up if it even becomes a possibility?

he has already begun testing the waters here through a Board member.

source: supatiger

I have a genuine feeling that he is telling the truth......he seems awefully credible through past posts.

I'm up in the air about this one. Don't know how i would feel about this hire. On one hand he is a great coach and recruiter. On the other there is always the chance he leaves again. Also the media would never let him live down leaving Bama after only one season.

No buyout, WVMD like to keep his options open.

I would reluctantly support the hire ONLY for the purposes of destroying UAT football for at least a decade.

He already has all of the money he wants. He hates the media. He hates all of the headcoaching bullshite.

My dream:
Spurrier at HC
Saban as DC

He would get blasted by the media for such a move. This would never happen. He would have zero credbility left with anyone, including recruits.

Saban has *zero* buyout in his current contract. Works both ways, since it helped those who put together his $4m a year package (i.e., Bama can fire him anytime w/o incurring additional costs).

It's just too bizarre, even for Saban, for him to take his 4th job in less than 10 years. If he'd stayed in Miami one more year, sure, but now...

Like we're gonna listen to a Barner in here to stir up shite.

You'd better worry more about holding on to Tubby than who we end up with.
