Not worth the drive but an FYI - Restaurant Depot in NOLA is at $2.82/lb today.

it was 2.99 in houma live the other day, and like 4.75 boiled.
everywhere around here has been pissing me off because no one has live, and anytime they get a few sacks they boil it and sell it

I don't know, but last year there were signs all around Lafayette for $40 sacks which I didn't think was too bad.

That must have been at the end of the season when crawfish were rock hard.

There was a guy last year in Lake Charles with $40 sacks around Memorial Day weekend.

Isn't that the truth. I called at least 15 places between Thibodaux, Raceland, Houma and Chauvin on Valentine's day. None had live crawfish most had boiled. I ended up boiling 25 pounds of 16-20 count shrimp. Believe it or not they were cheaper than some of the crawfish i was trying to locate.
