we're talking about making poor choices and demanding that the results of such behavior be recognized as good (and normal)
that is a major problem and i completely reject such a philosophy. i don't believe in rewarding making poor decisions

when i was employed, i was given tasks with deadlines. how i finish those tasks was up to me, and anything else didn't matter as long as i hit my deadlines
